Niceware Healthcare deploys the NiceWatch server technology to integrate any patient identification solution. Depending on the requirements, different NiceWatch modules can integrate services that include:
- HL7 messaging so that healthcare institutions, insurance providers and suppliers can communicate with each other
- Wristband, chart label and admittance form printing from different printers throughout the network
- Simple, stand-alone or offline patient data capture and printing solution that feeds patient data, gathered during a downtime period, back to the main healthcare IT system
Offline Patient Identification
Niceware Healthcare integrates offline patient identification solutions into any healthcare IT environment. The solution has a personalized, easy-to-use data entry screen and enables administrators to capture patient information and print wristbands, chart labels or admitting forms during system downtime or as a scheduled offline stand-alone application.
The integration part includes the data feedback to the parent database. Captured data is entered and archived in a database during the offline operation and can be reconciled with the parent database at a later time.

Bedside Blood Collection and Identification
The Bedside Blood Collection and Identification solution is a mobile data scanning and verification application. Care takes scan a patient’s wristband and laboratory order form with a mobile computer and print specimen labels with a mobile printer.
The integration part includes the data transmission to the laboratory IT system. Captured data is transferred immediately to the parent database of the laboratory IT system through TCP/ IP connection.
